Introduction to Handguns and Handgun Safety $30


This is an introductory course for the new or inexperienced shooter.

Covered in this class: safe firearm handling and safe use of firearms. Also discussed: types of handguns and parts of the firearm.

Additionally; sighting , grips, stance, ammunition, storage, and cleaning. Class cost: $30 (Cash payment on day of the class)

Range time is not included as part of this class, but any students wanting to shoot in the Range for hands- on experience, the instructor will accompany and assist.

Our Range Safety Officers are always on duty, and are fully commited to ensuring that your experience with us is always safe and enjoyable!

At SemperFI we take the safety of all of our shooters very seriously, and we are one of the very few ranges that maintains an RSO Station near the firing line at all times.

Our highly experienced and professional staff are among the friendliest and most knowledgable in the firearms industy.

Our range has twelve 25 yard lanes, and shooters are welcome to fire pistols, rifles, or shotguns.

The only restriction is that all rifle ammunition must be lead core, and shotguns are limited to Slugs.

SemperFi is stocked with everything you need for concealed carry and home defense. Shooters can choose to shop our vast inventory at the range or from the comfort of their own homes on our online retail store!

Class from 9am-5pm

The class is simple to complete. We'll take breaks, but if you'll bring snacks, we won't have to stop the class for a lunch break. Bring your gun in class when you get there, but leave your ammo in the car until we need to go get it.

Class size is limited

Class is fun, you'll enjoy it. You'll learn about where you can and can't carry your gun. Who you can shoot, and who you can't. Class size is limited, so we ask that you register early to insure a seat. Call or Text (859) 940-3240. Please bring only the gun you plan to shoot that day, and please don't bring anyone with you that's not taking the class.

This lady was 80 years old. She said "She just wanted the legal right to protect herself", and she did it! She passed the class and qualified on the range, but she'd never shot a gun before. RELAX - If you don't own a gun yet, or if you don't know how to shoot yet, we'll help you get through it. You'll be glad you took the time to take this class.
